Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Apply one cup of mayonnaise to your damp, freshly washed hair. You may use a little more or less depending on the length of your hair. Coat all the strands from the roots to the ends. Cover the hair with a shower cap and allow it to sit on the hair for about 30 minutes. Wash with a gentle shampoo and allow hair to air dry.

  2. Step 2

Mash one-half of an avocado, one-half banana, and one egg yolk together and apply the mixture to damp, freshly washed hair. Coat all the strands from the roots to the ends. Cover the hair with a shower cap and allow it to sit on the hair for about 30 minutes. Wash with a gentle shampoo and allow hair to air dry.

  3. Step 3

Mix one egg with one tablespoon of almond oil, one tablespoon of coconut oil and two tablespoons of honey and apply the mixture to damp, freshly washed hair. Coat all the strands from the roots to the ends. Cover the hair with a shower cap and allow it to sit on the hair for about 30 minutes. Wash with a gentle shampoo and allow hair to air dry.

  4. Step 4

Warm one-half cup of sunflower oil mixed with one-half cup of wheat germ oil and one tablespoon of honey. Apply the mixture to damp, freshly washed hair. Coat all the strands from the roots to the ends. Cover the hair with a shower cap and allow it to sit on the hair for about 30 minutes. Wash with a gentle shampoo and allow hair to air dry.

  5. Step 5

Avoid using rubber bands on your hair; only use coated hair bands to hold ponytails or braids. Pat your hair dry instead of rubbing it. Keep split ends trimmed off from the ends of your hair. Avoid using curling irons or hot rollers. Alternate these home remedies using one a week to restore the shine and luster of your hair.
