How to Take Care of Hairfall

If you are the kind of person who has a few dozen hair fall off every time you run your fingers or comb through it then you are suffering from hair breakage or hair fall. It is a metabolic disorder where the hair starts thinning, falling or disappearing.

What causes hair fall?

An improper diet is the most common cause for hair fall. Lack of vitamins like vitamin B6 and folic acid along with poor eating habits cause hair loss. Diseases that have strong medication like influenza, typhoid or chronic cold cause loss of hair as well. Stressful conditions like loss of family, job stress or other common anxieties can cause hair loss as well. Not washing shampoo of your hair or not maintaining hygiene are also common conditions for hair loss.

What are the symptoms?

None but the obvious, you will find hair fall in the shower or while you run your fingers or comb through your hair. This leads to your hair looking thin and lifeless.

Home remedies for hair loss

Some simple techniques include massaging your hair with hot oil every 3 days. All you need to do is boil 1 cup of oil (mustard, almond or coconut) and add a few herbs like henna leaves to it. Make sure to crush the leaves before you boil them.

Wash your hair with shampoos that are lemon or lavender based. Rinse of lemon juice or vinegar.

Squeeze lemons and soak them over night. Use this water to wash your hair or boil the water. Place a towel in the water and then squeeze out the excess water. Wrap it around your head so that you get a hot steam massage with the lemon water.

Add protein to your diet. Drink 10 – 12 glasses of water. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily and drink 2 cups of milk daily.
